FENDI, a luxury brand representing Rome, Italy, has unveiled a new shoe called "Delfina" for its Fall/Winter 2023 women's collection, designed by Artistic Director Kim Jones. The shoe is named after the jewelry artistic director, Delfina Delettrez Fendi, who served as the inspiration for the collection.

Delfina Delettrez Fendi herself is the story, exploring the dualism that is essential to Fendi's creations and is expressed in the Delfina shoe collection. Soft punk details such as gold hardware, lace-up cut-outs, and harness straps add a sophisticated touch to the collection. The architectural gold chunky heel is a reinterpretation of an archival shoe from Fendi's Fall/Winter 2000 women's collection, with a hollowed-out central space through which a harness strap featuring an embossed "FF" logo is threaded, adding an elegant yet fetishistic twist.

The Delfina shoe collection, featuring eye-catching 10.5cm chunky heels, features four high-heel styles and one rubber-soled biker shoe. The seemingly classic round-toe Mary Jane pumps are updated with metallic heels and harness strap details, while booties and long boots feature a beautiful round-toe shape and perfectly balanced shaft. Thigh-high lace-up boots feature cutouts at the knees, adding a touch of fetishism while allowing for flexibility when worn. Lightweight rubber-soled biker boots feature the same details as the thigh-high boots.
