Minimal's Valentine's Day chocolates play music!

Jan 28, 2017

Minimal, a bean-to-bar chocolate specialty store, will be releasing a limited number of "Music with Chocolate ~Valentine Edition~" (1,400 yen) from January 24th to February 14th, giving music along with chocolate for Valentine's Day.

"Music with Chocolate ~Valentine Edition~" is the second installment of "Music with Chocolate," a music service that utilizes smartphone AR functions and was a huge hit at Christmas last year. When you photograph the special Valentine's Day product packaging with the smartphone AR app "STYLUS & GROOVE," the music will play.

The song featured this time is "Rollin' Rollin'," a collaboration between singer-songwriter Nanao Tabito and DJ/rapper Yakenohara. The song, co-written by these charismatic figures who are hugely popular in the club scene, is still loved by many people even after all these years since its release in 2009. The chocolate also comes in "FRUITY BERRY-LIKE," which has a muscat-like aftertaste and a soft cashew-like sweetness that is popular among men. The music will be available online from January 24th to March 30th.
