The botanical-themed "Botanical Flea Market" opens in Shibuya. From miscellaneous goods and clothing to art.

Jan 30, 2017

A botanical-themed pop-up shop called "Botanical Flea Market" will be open from February 1st to 5th at GALLERY X BY PARCO in Shibuya, Tokyo.

During the event, notable shops, galleries, and stylists will be selling products selected around the theme of "botanical." A wide variety of items will be available, from miscellaneous goods and clothing to art, flowers, and food. The venue will also be produced by Farver, a stylish flower shop in Nakameguro, Tokyo. The venue's sound will be handled by Sound Couture, which styles music to match the venue's concept, and Hal's Record, a record specialty store that selects vintage records from around the world, creating a space reminiscent of a foreign flea market. An opening party will be held from 7pm to 9pm on February 1st, with a botanical-inspired nut cake by BROWNSALT, a visiting chef for Japanese cuisine and sweets. On February 4th and 5th, a visiting florist by Favor will appear. In addition to dried flowers and textured vases, special fresh flowers will be available for two days only. On February 5th, there will be a pop-up herbal tea event by Have a Herbal Harvest, an herbal tea brand that can be enjoyed with all five senses.

In addition to Favor and Have a Herbal Harvest, participating stores will also include SEED STORE (seeds), Lamp harajuku (select shop), Gaijin (vintage clothing and miscellaneous goods), sakumotto (miscellaneous goods), J. Jeffery's Print Gallery (antique art), and interior stylist Nakabayashi Yuki (miscellaneous goods).
