Mister Donut will release four varieties of the "misdo meets Gion Tsujiri Toshi Yoroizuka" "Matcha Surprise Series" in limited quantities and for a limited time nationwide from May 15th.
Since 2017, under the brand slogan "Good things are happening at Mister Donut," Mister Donut has been offering "misdo meets," a series of products developed in collaboration with brands that use the highest level of ingredients and techniques, to provide customers with "the best taste and value" and "excitement."
The "misdo meets Gion Tsujiri Toshi Yoroizuka" "Matcha Surprise Series" is a joint development product following the well-received "Matcha Climax Series," which was released in April of this year. The combination of Gion Tsujiri's first-harvest Uji matcha and the ideas of Chef Toshi Yoroizuka has resulted in donuts with a never-before-seen texture and innovative appearance. The lineup includes four products: "Pon de Pie Uji Matcha" and "Pon de Pie Chocolat," which combine the chewy texture of Pon de Ring with the crispy texture of pie, and "Crisp Double Uji Matcha" and "Crisp Uji Matcha Chocolat," which combine cookie dough and bagel dough with a dough kneaded with Uji matcha to create a crunchy, chewy texture. Be sure to try the "Matcha Surprise Series," where Chef Yoroizuka's ideas shine not only in taste but also in appearance and texture.
