Tokyo-based "Bean-to-Bar Chocolate" brand Salagadola is dedicated to unraveling the mysterious allure of chocolate and its raw material, cocoa, using the power of human senses and technology. Working daily with cocoa, a still largely unexplored territory, Salagadola's team consists of Risa Miyazaki, who designs flavors from varietal discovery to fermentation, roasting, and recipe development, and Motoki Kimura of Hakuhodo, who builds the brand. The chocolates they create maximize the natural flavors of rare cocoa beans, a quality that cannot be achieved by mass-produced chocolate factories or the skilled hands of chocolatiers. This time, HOHO Smile EVENTS will be hosting "Three Types of Hot Chocolate and a Question Book That Will Make You Fall in Love," hosted by Saragadura's Risa Miyazaki and Motoki Kimura. This hands-on workshop, combining the mysterious power of cacao with the science of romantic psychology, will deepen the bond between couples, perfect for Valentine's Day.

■Message from Host Saragadura

In this workshop, you will enjoy three unique types of hot chocolate. The cacao beans used in this hot chocolate contain PEA (phenylethylamine), known as the love hormone. Simply tasting chocolate temporarily elevates blood PEA levels to the same level as when you're in love. At this moment, your brain and body are more likely to believe you're in love.

At the perfect time to fall in love, participants will ask each other special questions. These questions are based on psychology and are guaranteed to make you fall in love. Experience the mysterious power of cacao firsthand as you enjoy conversations that reveal hidden aspects of each other.

Due to the nature of this workshop, participants must register as a pair. Of course, same-sex pairs are also welcome. Couples who are just curious about each other, or couples who are already dating, are also welcome. Even if you're not planning on falling in love, we're sure you'll enjoy this experience, where you'll get a glimpse of unexpected sides to each other.
