Balenciaga expands its Le Cagole line with a sublimated basketweave tote bag. The market-bag-style carrier is handwoven in Morocco from palm raffia and finished with signature details in Italy. The Balenciaga Le Cagole Basket fuses its signature elements with a utilitarian archetype, giving the line a more casual feel. Reflecting Balenciaga's original line that inspired Le Cagole, the double handles are sewn with leather lace and hinged to a rounded-edged leather panel featuring flat thimble-like studs and a straight zipper tied with a leather cord. A heart-shaped, leather-framed mirror hangs from the handle, completing the Le Cagole look. The adjustable strap allows the small size to be worn cross-body. The Balenciaga Le Cagole Basket is available in small, medium and large sizes, with black leather details and aged silver hardware consistent with the natural raffia tones, making each bag unique.
