Hublot has announced the new Spirit of Big Bang Essential Grey. Limited to just 100 pieces worldwide, it will be sold exclusively at Hublot's official online boutique, Hublot e-boutique (hublot.com).

The Essential Grey Collection was born from the premise of offering one color, one model, once a year, through one channel. This year, the Spirit of Big Bang is now available in Essential Grey. This historic collection features the only barrel-shaped case among Hublot's mechanical watches, and this time it is made entirely of titanium, from the case, bezel, screws, crown, push-pieces, case back and folding buckle. The chromatic characteristics of titanium are combined with the elegant radiance of grey, sandblasted and polished by the watchmakers, to express the natural yet distinct concept of Essential Grey.

The movement of this Essential Grey model also incorporates highly delicate variations to maintain the watch's readability, such as a date display (window at 4:30) and chronograph counters (minute counter at 3 o'clock, hour counter at 6 o'clock). Various finishes, such as mirror polish, lines, graining, luminescent indexes and rhodium-plated hands, also add depth to the watch.

This approach ensures perfect legibility of all dial displays and highlights the skeletonized structure of the HUB4700 caliber. This automatic chronograph movement beats at a high frequency (5Hz, 36,000 vph) and boasts a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. The watch also features the "One Click" system, which allows for easy strap changes without tools. Two straps are included: a striped gray rubber strap and a gray Velcro strap with a ceramic buckle.
