Fred Perry will host "Sub-Sonic Live," a music event that expresses the brand's subculture. The event was planned as part of the brand's music portal site, "Subculture." Launched in the UK in 2007, it has previously hosted major stars such as Paul Weller, The Specials, and Amy Winehouse. The brand's first Japanese performance, held in September 2014, featured Little Barrie and Tokyo Sky Paradise Orchestra. This time, the event is inspired by the brand's "Britsports" theme for the Spring/Summer 2015 season, which features 1990s Britpop. The Charlatans, a key figure in the Britpop scene, will perform. They are a legendary band whose numerous works have reached number one on the US charts, including their first album, Some Friendly, and will be appearing with their new album, Modern Nature, released on February 4th.
