On February 18th, Balenciaga released "B. Balenciaga Eau de Parfum" (30ml/8,000 yen, 50ml/10,500 yen, 75ml/13,500 yen). This is the first fragrance designed by Alexander Wang, who became the brand's creative director in 2012. The fragrance begins with unique green edamame and fresh lily of the valley green notes. Powdery iris notes and cedarwood essence emerge, before finishing with the deep woody notes of cashmere wood.
The crackle pattern on the hexagonal bottle is inspired by the marble tiles in the salon at 10 Avenue Georges V, Balenciaga's birthplace. The cap design pays homage to the arches that appear in the brand's fashion and accessories.
In addition, "B. Balenciaga Body Lotion" (200ml/6,600 yen) and "B. Balenciaga Shower Gel" (200ml/5,600 yen) will also be released to match the fragrance.
