Aesop will release its fourth fragrance, "Rose Eau de Parfum," on April 20th.

This new fragrance is a floral fragrance that combines strength and delicacy. It was created in partnership with French perfumer Barnabé Fillion, who also worked on Aesop's "Marrakech Intense," "Huil Eau de Parfum," and "Aromatic Room Spray" series.
This fragrance is inspired by the life, work, and passion of renowned French modernist designer Charlotte Perriand, as well as the Japanese rose that bears her name. This fragrance, which exudes strength and suppleness, is delicate yet open, with extremely long-lasting fragrance, suitable for both men and women.
Aesop Rose Eau de Parfum (18,000 yen / 50mL)
The sophisticated box design is inspired by a photo collection of Charlotte Perriand's works.
The top note is a fragrant rose. It is complemented by petitgrain, bergamot, refreshing and stimulating pink pepper, and the fresh scent of shiso, inspired by Perriand's lifelong fascination with Japan. The middle note is a fragrant floral scent. While the dry, pungent woodiness of ylang-ylang is complemented by the light, smoky notes of guaiacwood, jasmine enhances the rose. The base notes combine a deep, powdery hint of sandalwood with the soft, woody, earthy notes of vetiver, the warm, sweet herbal notes of patchouli and amber, and the balsamic scent of myrrh. A subtle hint of musk envelops these notes.
