Hermès (HERMÈS) has launched a beauty line. The first collection, "Rouge Hermès," will be available from March 4th at the Hermès Isetan Shinjuku flagship store, the Hermès Ginza store, the Hermès Hankyu Umeda flagship store, and the Hermès online boutique.

Since its founding in 1837, Hermès has consistently been a craftsman, and this is the new beauty department it has created. It was born after more than five years of work, as a culmination of the artisan's efforts and the artisanal skills that are the hallmark of Hermès. The first chapter, "Rouge Hermès," is a comprehensive collection for women's lip beauty. It includes lipstick, lip care balm, lip pencil, and more.

The lipstick is the very definition of an Hermès object, and this small item fully embodies the Maison's philosophy. It has a sensual, fine texture and delivers powerful color with just one coat. The lineup includes two finishes: a matte finish inspired by the texture of Veau de Brisse, and a satin finish inspired by box calfskin.

Available in 24 colors, including 10 matte and 14 satin shades. The colors were inspired by 75,000 color samples from the silk department and 900 color samples from the leather department. In particular, the three iconic Hermès colors, "Rouge H," "Rouge Cazac," and "Orange Boite," the color of the orange box, are available in both matte and satin finishes.

In addition to the classic Emblem Collection, three limited edition colors will be released each season. The first limited edition comes in three vivid colors: the satin "Corail Feu" and "Violet Incens," and the matte "Rose Inui." The lineup features contrasting colors that are symbolic of this season, bringing out beauty and highlighting individuality with their lustrous hues.
The design is also made from high-quality materials that can be used for a long time, and can be reused by replacing the refill. Separately sold refills (4,400 yen) will be released in June. The finish of the black ring on the lipstick case makes it possible to distinguish between matte and satin.

The collection also includes the lip care balm "Rouge Hermès Baume de Soin pour les Lèvres" (7,200 yen), a lip shine essential for daily care, "Rouge Hermès Brillant à Lèvres Poppy" (7,200 yen), the universal lip pencil "Rouge Hermès Crayon à Lèvres Universelle" (4,100 yen), and the lip brush with a wooden handle and hand-painted lacquer finish, "Rouge The lineup also includes the Hermès Pinseau à Lèvres (8,500 yen). Leather accessories will also be available, including a lip case and a pendant mirror.
From autumn 2020, Hermès' beauty division will release new products every six months.
