In this seventh episode, we'll be introducing in detail how to layer the latest accessories and the free "Fashion Accessory Attendant Service" available at the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, 1st floor, Accessories.




"I'd like to start wearing proper accessories as a sign that I've become a grown-up woman. I have a general idea of what's trendy and what brands I'm interested in, but when it comes to actually buying them, I'm unsure. Ideally, I'd like something that matches a glamorous occasion like a dinner or party."
If that happens, head to the accessories department on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. The "Fashion Accessory Attendant Service" will recommend the items you're looking for from all the brands available in the accessories section on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building.
For example, if you're going for a masculine look like this model, why not try layering a generous amount of silver accessories? This style of accessory use has been gaining attention in recent years for its appealing sexiness and allure. Simply by wearing an oversized shirt loosely and matching all your accessories with rugged silver, you can accentuate a woman's slender figure and create a sultry look. Give it a try!



If you're looking for a softer look than options 1 and 2, why not add some color to your face with a delicate chain long necklace or dainty hoop earrings? The feminine yet light finish makes them perfect for spring items like dresses and blouses, which will be especially popular in the coming season. The key is to layer several necklaces. A single necklace won't make much of a statement, so try wearing multiple pieces to liven up your outfit. When doing so, choose a top with a simple design to highlight your accessories. What is the "Fashion Accessory Attendant Service"?
We spoke to a store stylist for more details.

Q: What inspired you to start this service?
A: "We started this service at the end of last year after receiving many inquiries from customers in-store, such as, 'I want this design, but I don't know where to find it,' or 'What would you recommend as a gift?' We search for and recommend products that perfectly fit the customer's needs from the approximately 77 brands we carry in the accessories section on the first floor of the main building. The consultation takes approximately 30 minutes. Reservations are often fully booked on weekends, so if you'd like to take your time and have a thorough consultation, we recommend coming on a weekday."

Q: What face accessory has sold the most so far?
A: "Ear cuffs were particularly popular this season. Gold was overwhelmingly more popular than silver. Some customers even mixed and matched them."

Q: What about earrings and necklaces?
A: "Earrings were by far more popular than necklaces. In December, many men bought them as Christmas gifts for women. Many of the things that women bought as a treat for themselves were ear cuffs and earrings."

Q: What designs are popular for earrings?
A: "Designs that accentuate the face, such as dangling or asymmetrical designs, are popular. It looks like using accessories will be key as we head into spring."

Q: Finally, please tell us your recommended accessory tips for spring!
A: "In fall and winter, we don't expose as much skin, so I think many people only wear accessories around their ears. However, as we start to wear more lightweight clothing in the coming seasons, I recommend adding volume by wearing lots of necklaces or layering bracelets! Also, even within the same category, different colors and sizes can create a completely different look, so I encourage you to expand your range.
