Isetan Shinjuku has launched the "Isetan Channel" to help you with your fashion worries. In this sixth episode, they will introduce useful travel outfits divided into three scenarios: during the flight, walking around town during the day, and dinner.

--A letter from a troubled customer--
"What should I wear on my trip?"

"I'm going to Taiwan soon with a friend for a two-day, one-night trip. I want to walk around as much as time allows and buy lots of souvenirs, so I want to wear something as light as possible. It would be convenient to have an item that looks great on its own... What's the best way to dress for such a trip?"

LOOK.1 The best style for during a flight

Cardigan (¥53,900/AKIRA NAKA), T-shirt (¥27,500/Madison Blue), denim (¥23,980/SERGE de bleu), bag (¥85,800/Clare V.), sneakers (¥29,700/Cole Haan)
If you want to get active as soon as you arrive, why not choose denim and sneakers for your flight? These "SERGE de bleu" denim jeans are made entirely in Japan, from the materials to the processing. They're soft and comfortable, conforming perfectly to your feet, making them a perfect choice for those who don't feel comfortable wearing denim for long flights. The relaxed fit also reduces strain on your feet. Lightweight sneakers are recommended for easy walking. Taiwan is warmer than Japan, so a cardigan or other items are essential to help regulate your body temperature. The "Clare V." bag has a wide gusset and ample storage space, so you can easily store your haori jacket inside. The opening has a magnet, making it easy to open and close. This bag is sure to come in handy at airports, where you'll be taking things in and out frequently, such as during security checks!

LOOK.2: The main focus of the trip: walking around town

Dress (47,300 yen/XiRENA), raffia hat (22,000 yen/Albatos Swanepoel), basket bag (28,600 yen/Clare V.), sandals (23,100 yen/Fabio Rusconi (expected arrival in March), sunglasses (¥50,600 / GUCCI (price will be increased to ¥53,900 as of March 1st. Thank you for your understanding.) How about a print dress for a daytime stroll around town? Not only is it comfortable and stylish on its own, it also folds up neatly, taking up little space in your bag. Made from 100% cotton, it's highly absorbent, so you'll stay cool and comfortable even if you sweat under the hot Taiwanese sun. I chose a shoulder bag for those who plan to do a lot of shopping. The material is raffia, which matches my hat. The sun is strong, so don't forget your sunglasses!

LOOK.3 Dressing Up for Travel

Knit (¥38,500/JW ANDERSON), Dress (¥63,800/Yohhei Ohno), Bag (Reference Item/Paco Rabanne), Shoes (¥44,000/Laurence), Earrings (¥35,200/Grosse), Necklace (¥63,800/Grosse)
