The Food Collection on the basement floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku is hosting the "ISETAN Curry Festival," an event where you can enjoy the magnificent world of curry, from January 22nd to 28th.

Curry is now beloved as one of the nation's national dishes. It was on January 22nd, 1982, that curry was first served on the school lunch menu in elementary and junior high schools across the country. To commemorate this date, January 22nd has been designated "Curry Day."
Isetan Shinjuku is hosting the "ISETAN Curry Festival" to coincide with Curry Day. In addition to selling takeout curry, they will also be selling ready-made curry and popular side dishes from each store. There will also be an eat-in area, allowing customers to enjoy a wide variety of curries at home or at the restaurant.
