The fantasy of Morioka Tsutomu, owner of Morioka Bookstore, which sells only one book a week, "if I were to sell clothes," has been realized as a seven-day boutique. Morioka says that the clothes he envisions are "something that not only reflects the feelings that the maker puts into the clothes, but also the memories that the wearer has of when they purchased or wore them, making them even more precious."
This time, Boutique Morioka has selected brands and artists that evoke this background. Participating stores include TALK TO ME, whose designs are neither European nor Asian, exuding a taut sense of tension and emanating a mysterious atmosphere; Coci la elle, which offers umbrellas that are beautiful even when folded, and that make you happy just to carry them; and mïndy by Fukushima Miki, who also designs costumes for artists and collaborates with artists from different fields.

Other stalls will also be open to the public, including COOHEM, Sa-Rah, hasuike, EEL Products, ironari, Clothes and Typograph, CALICO, CHICU+CHICU5/31, WONDER FULL LIFE/chisaki, making this an event where you can purchase or give as gifts clothes that will last and be loved for a long time during the special season of Christmas.
In addition, Morioka will be exhibiting hand-drawn illustrations of iconic items from each brand and artist.
