Copenhagen, Denmark-based fashion brand Cecilie Bahnsen will be giving away free copies of "Tokyo Trance," a photo book of its 2019-20 Fall/Winter collection, which was set in Tokyo, at Dover Street Market Ginza on December 7th.

The three models used in this shoot, Natsumi Sekine, Makoto Tanaka, and Megumu, were discovered by Cecilie herself through Instagram, and one of them, Natsumi Sekine, also appeared as a runway model for the 2020 Spring/Summer collection, which was presented in Copenhagen in August of this year. The shoot took place during Cecilie's visit to Japan for the "Open House" event in April of this year.

"The clothes I designed looked very natural in Tokyo. You can see that immediately when you look at these photos. Maybe it's because I always get so much inspiration from Japan. The dresses I created looked somehow cinematic and poetic on the streets of Tokyo, and they were wonderful. In a way, it felt like I was returning to the starting point of my inspiration, and that my collection had finally found its home."
