CHANEL has released its Spring/Summer 2020 collection, "DESERT DREAM." The collection includes eight items, including eye shadow, face powder, and lipstick, and will be available from January 3, 2020.

Inspired by a journey to the world's oldest desert, this collection features a vibrant yet subdued color palette evoking the quartz, basalt, and shale rocks that sway quietly under the scorching sun at the foot of the enormous sand dunes.

Eclat de Désir (7,000 yen)

The limited edition pink-beige highlighter "Eclat de Désir" (7,000 yen) evokes a shimmering light with intense heat. The surface is adorned with the outline of the famous sand dunes that stretch across the desert. The new shade "Golden Light" of the face color "Baume Essentiel" (5,500 yen) creates a fresh, radiant glow, giving the complexion a healthy, light look.

Apply to the areas of your face that are first exposed to the sun: cheekbones, forehead, bridge of the nose, and chin for a fresh, radiant look.

This collection's "Les Quatre Ombres" (6,900 yen) comes in two shades, combining matte and shimmer textures. The soft mauve of "Elemental" and the rich pink shade of "Warm Memories" are romantic and serene, yet powerful colors that can be layered to create an intense look.

The new eyeshadow "Ombre Premiere Lacquer" (3,900 yen) comes in five shades, ranging from peach tones to a slightly darker mauve, all with a creamy metallic sparkle. You can apply it all over your eyelids with the applicator as liquid eyeshadow, or use the paler tones as highlighters to create an intense look.
"Stylo Ombre et Contour" #36 Contour Mauve (3,900 yen)

"Stylo Ombre et Contour" (3,900 yen), in coffee bean brown and vibrant rosy mauve, can be used as an eyeliner or as a base for "Les Quatre Ombres" by smudging and blending. The sophisticated color is further enhanced by the cool brown and mauve of "Stylo Ombre et Contour."

These two lip colors express the extreme heat felt in the desert, which can make you feel dizzy. The bright orange-pink of Rouge Brulan, a new shade of Rouge Allure (4,200 yen), can be blended in light tapping motions and layered for an even more intense finish. The ultra-matte Rouge Allure Velvet Extreme (4,200 yen) now comes in a new warm rosewood shade, Endless. You can also enjoy the vibrant Rouge Brulan by blending it into the center of your lips.  

"Vernis Longue Tenue" #739 Mirage (3,200 yen)

The "Vernis Longue Tenue" nail polish (3,200 yen) comes in two mysterious shades, "Mirage" and "Daydream," evoking the milky mauve nuances of Polaroid photographs taken in the desert. The extremes of the desert inspired the creation of these two soft shades of ambiguous colors.

Both items will be available from January 3, 2020. Please note that some items are special limited editions or limited colors and will be discontinued once they are gone.
