Our ingredients are responsibly sourced for the benefit of the communities where they are grown. For example, our vetiver is grown on small farms in Haiti. It takes 12 months to cultivate the plant, and surplus crops are not discarded; they are replanted for the next harvest. Our designs have also been improved to be more environmentally conscious. The bottles containing our new fragrances are made from 20% recycled glass. Our caps are made from 100% natural wood, with no plastic content. Furthermore, the wood comes from sustainably managed forests, minimizing our environmental impact. This choice reduces the risk of marine pollution by 99% and reduces water consumption during production by more than 95%. Naturally, the amount of energy used in the process is also significantly reduced (70% reduction for L'Eau d'Issey Peony), leading to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (79% reduction for L'Eau d'Issey Peony).
