Maria Grazia Chiuri's goal for Dior's Fall 2023 collection was to find new and original ways to speak to the emotions and sensibilities that connect us to a country and its culture. She wanted to express her long-standing relationship with India and her collaboration and friendship with Karishma Swari, director of the Chanakya Atelier and Chanakya School of Arts and Crafts in Mumbai.

Through silhouettes, Maria Grazia Chiuri celebrates the remarkable diversity of savoir-faire, highlighting the visionary spirit of founder Christian Dior and his successors. Silk colorblocks in green, yellow, pink and purple pay homage to Marc Bohan, Dior's then-creative director.
