"The Merino Series," a collaboration with The Woolmark Company, is now on sale from 3.1 Phillip Lim's Fall 2019 collection. Pop-ups will be held at Isetan Salone, Iwataya Main Store, Ginza Mitsukoshi, and Isetan Shinjuku from October 2nd.


3.1 Phillip Lim's Fall 2019 season was the brand's most sustainable, focusing on the importance of natural fibers and with 82% of the collection made from natural materials. The collection features 100% natural, biodegradable, renewable, and ECO-certified Australian Merino wool, a natural material that offers innovative styles with a focus on sustainability. The collection features 21 styles, including denim, coats, blazers, sweaters, skirts, and trousers crafted from luxurious wool, presented in a variety of silhouettes. Also noteworthy is the "wool denim" material, a blend of wool and cotton denim, which uses the same warp threads as traditional denim but replaces the weft thread with machine-washable wool. While maintaining the same functionality as traditional denim, wool's warmth and odor-resistant properties mean fewer washes, saving time, energy, and water. This eco-friendly denim is not only environmentally friendly during the manufacturing process, but also after purchase.

The partnership with The Woolmark Company, which began with the Fall 2018 collection, has been continued with this collection, selecting the most innovative fabrics and yarns of the moment.

The Merino Series will be available from September 16th at the online store (www.31philliplim.com) as well as at the flagship store Ginza Six and other directly managed stores across Japan. Pop-up stores will also be held at Isetan Salone, Iwataya Main Store, Ginza Mitsukoshi, and Isetan Shinjuku.
