tac:tac's salon space and shop, "I'M HERE," will open in Aoyama, Tokyo from September 6th to 23rd.

This event, called a "salon," attempts a different approach from a typical clothing store or pop-up shop. tac:tac has previously held these "salons" with a variety of musicians and artists, including Sekai No Ozaki (Creepy Hyp), Mitsufumi Shimozu (Odotte Bakari no Kuni), Homecomings, Ryu Okubo, and Daijiro Hama. This year's theme is "DATE," and the world of tac:tac will be expressed through the new 2019-20 Fall/Winter collection, as well as specially created video and spatial installations. A cinematic video by artist Takeshi Nakamura will be screened on the first floor of the venue. The space will resemble a park, a meeting spot within the video. The spatial design was handled by Akihiro Yamaya and Eiko Tomura of Eiko Tomura Design Office, with music and sound design by Sho Tatsuda, and fixture production by furniture studio KOKKOK. The project's overall research and production management was handled by dramaturge Daigo Takeuchi. The basement floor will house a shop stocking the 2019-20 Fall/Winter unisex collection, reproduction items for women, and archive collections from the brand's early days. Pre-orders are also being accepted for unreleased items from the 2020 Spring/Summer collection, "WE ARE HERE - T." A reception party will also be held on the opening day from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
