MUVEIL has presented its Fall/Winter 2019 collection inspired by the film "E.T." A pop-up store will be open for a limited time at the Isetan Shinjuku store from August 28th to September 3rd. An event will also be held at GALLERY MUVEIL, a shop in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, from September 14th to 29th.


This season, MUVEIL's source of inspiration was the science fiction film "E.T." The collection is inspired by the classic 1982 film, which depicts the innocent heart of a child and the friendship that blossoms between an alien botanist from outer space and 10-year-old Elliot, transcending language and life forms, and is infused with an 80s feel.
Limited Edition T-shirt (12,000 yen)
The pop-up store, which will be held in the TOKYO Liberation Zone on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku, will feature a collaboration with Trinca unplusun, a brand created by stylist Itsuki Aizawa, and collage artist Q-TA, based on the theme of "E.T." The store will display the world of "E.T." in a way that is typical of Aizawa, and will sell limited edition special products such as "E.T." stuffed toys in collaboration with Muveil and a "T-shirt" (12,000 yen) designed by Q-TA. During the period, a talk event will be held with Muveil designer Michiko Nakayama, Itsuki Aizawa, and Q-TA from 1pm on August 31st.

To coincide with the unveiling of the collection, Gallery Muveil in Minami-Aoyama will be hosting an "Encounters" Exhibition, an event themed around "E.T.", featuring guest illustrator Ayumi!. Limited-edition items on sale include Ayumi!'s soothing artwork and "Tote Bag" (4,000 yen), as well as a special one-of-a-kind chandelier created by chandelier artist Kim Seong-hye, and a special "Plush Toy" (9,800 yen), a collaboration between Muveil and "E.T."

On September 14th and 15th, a reservation-only event will be held where Ayumi! will draw a caricature for a limited number of people. For more details or to apply for a drawing, please contact Gallery Muveil.
