Shiseido Parlour's annual summer curry fair has begun! Featuring vibrant curries made with Kobe beef and summer vegetables

Shiseido Parlour stores will be holding their annual summer curry fair until August 31st. A wide variety of curries will be available, including Kobe beef curry.

In 2019, Shiseido Parlour restaurants, including the Ginza flagship store, will be featuring menus focusing on "Kobe beef," a global brand of beef synonymous with Wagyu.

The Ginza flagship store will be hosting the "Summer Ginza Curry Fair" from July 23rd to August 31st. "Kobe Beef Premium Curry and Rice" (5,000 yen including tax) is made with carefully selected cuts of Kobe beef, slowly simmered in Shiseido Parlour's original stew sauce until tender, and is available in a limited quantity of 20 servings per day. Other dishes in the lineup include "Wakayama Prefecture Kishu Umedori Chicken Braised with Summer Vegetables" (2,900 yen including tax), "Lobster and Scallop Curry with Saffron Rice" (4,900 yen including tax), "Japanese Black Beef Sanmai-niku Premium Curry and Rice" (5,000 yen including tax), and "Low-Carb Agu Pork and Summer Vegetable Keema Curry" (3,200 yen including tax).

The "Summer Curry Fair 2019" is being held at the Nihonbashi, Jiyugaoka, Yokohama Takashimaya, Yokohama Sogo, and Nagoya stores from July 1st to August 31st. "Kobe Beef Curry Rice" (3,024 yen including tax), which has a different flavor to the one at the Ginza main store, is being offered with a limit of 10 servings per day. It uses a generous amount of lean cuts that allow you to fully enjoy the meat, and is based on Shiseido Parlour's traditional curry sauce, resulting in a spicy yet easy-to-eat flavor.

In addition, a wide variety of original menu items are available, created with the ingenuity of the head chefs of each store. Menu items exclusive to the Nihonbashi store include "Colorful Vegetable Curry Rice" (2,430 yen including tax), "Omi Pork Loin Cutlet Curry Rice" (2,430 yen including tax), and, until the end of July, "Ume Chicken Tandoori Chicken Omelet Curry Rice" (2,430 yen including tax). The Jiyugaoka store's exclusive menu includes "Beef Cutlet Curry Rice" (3,456 yen including tax), while the Yokohama Takashimaya store's exclusive menu includes "Summer Vegetable and Beef Cutlet Curry" (3,024 yen including tax) and, until the end of July, "Tropical Seafood Curry" (2,484 yen including tax).

Menus exclusive to the Yokohama Sogo store include "Pork Fillet Cutlet Curry" (2,106 yen including tax) and "Tomato Curry with Plenty of Vegetables Served with Fried Shrimp" (2,052 yen including tax), while the Nagoya store offers "Poached Lobster and Scallops with Coconut Curry Rice" (2,997 yen including tax).

Also, to allow you to enjoy the luxurious taste of "Kobe Beef Curry" like that made by a chef at Shiseido Parlour at home, "Kobe Beef Curry" (180g, 1,404 yen including tax) has been released from the Special Gourmet Series of ready-to-eat pouches. This dish makes the most of the characteristics of Kobe Beef, which is selected from among the Tajima beef produced in Hyogo Prefecture and meets strict standards, and is an exquisite dish that perfectly matches the unique umami of Kobe Beef, which has captivated gourmets around the world, with the sweetness of onions.
