This spring, Canada Goose celebrates International Polar Bear Day by collaborating with Italian-born contemporary artist Paola Pivi and longtime partner Polar Bear International (PBI) on a limited-edition Spring/Summer capsule collection. In recognition of their shared desire to raise awareness of the threat facing polar bears and their habitats, a portion of proceeds will be donated to support PBI and its conservation efforts.
The collection immerses us in the whimsical world of Paola Pivi's unique polar bear cubs, showcasing vibrant prints across Canada Goose essentials. The artwork used exclusively for the collection was originally presented in Pivi's first solo exhibition in 2019 at Perrotin in New York, titled "We are the baby gang," featuring a winged polar bear cub. Throughout the collection, you can enjoy the vibrant intertwined bear camouflage pattern, a collaboration between Canada Goose and Paola Pivi. Each piece is designed with durability, versatility, and a cool aesthetic in mind, providing comfort while protecting from the elements. It's perfect for layering and enjoying the outdoors.

About Paola Pivi
Paola Pivi is known for her contemporary multimedia works, spanning objects, photography, video, installation, and performance, among them her signature winged polar bear sculpture. Drawing inspiration from the natural environment of her home in Alaska, her work has been shown in solo exhibitions at some of the world's leading museums, including the Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach and the Kunsthalle Basel in Switzerland. Pivi's exhibition, "We are the baby gang," features an installation of 70 fluorescent-feathered polar bear cubs frolicking, playing, fighting, napping, and adapting to changing conditions on Earth, mimicking human behavior. Through her work, Pivi highlights the challenges polar bears face in the Arctic due to global climate change.
