Balenciaga introduces the first-ever Balenciaga Skiwear collection, a range of winter sports products in the form of technically advanced ready-to-wear, accessories, equipment, and gear.

Using innovative materials and technologies designed for visibility, insulation, aerodynamics, and protection, the collection expands on Balenciaga's signature themes and introduces for the first time functional athletic pieces such as snowboards, skis, helmets, downhill and cross skis, and hiking poles.

The collection includes parkas and cargo pants crafted from membrane-bonded technical ripstop with integrated snow gaiters, advanced ventilation systems, battery-saving pockets, and ski pass holders. Quilted matte nylon jackets and vests, five-pocket ski pants in bonded stretch nylon, and form-fitting fleece jackets echo the Maison's classic silhouettes such as the Hourglass and Puffer.

Outerwear is water-repellent, keeping the wearer warm and dry. Most pieces come in black, gray, and red. Thermal layers, available in black, include hoodies and long-sleeved half-zip tops in heavy moleskin, fluffy knits, fisherman-rib wool, and mink-style faux fur.

Durable ripstop padded gloves clip onto jacket sleeves. A ribbed knit beanie features integrated sunglass lenses for added eye protection. Additionally, a selection of cold-weather leggings, socks, face masks, gloves, and scarves in a variety of shapes and materials feature the sporty reflective Balenciaga logo.

Technical ready-to-wear pieces like water-repellent fleece-lined jeans in blue stretch denim bring casual style to the trail or après-ski, while the pole-compatible Ski Backpack and Ski Belt bag each feature a lined, scratch-resistant pocket for goggles and are made from water-repellent recycled nylon in black or red.

The Alaska boot is a reinterpretation of the archetypal shoe developed for extreme cold conditions, giving it oversized proportions and a bias in style. Its soft form is covered in nylon, leather or faux fur and lined for thermal insulation.

The 3XL Ski Sneaker is a snow-ready version of the original 3XL, designed to withstand the winter elements. A water-resistant inner film protects the wearer from moisture, and a rubber harness and chain allow for the attachment of individual spiked crampons for enhanced athletic performance.

The Balenciaga Snowboard and Balenciaga Skis are available in two sizes. Both feature the Balenciaga logo on a white base and a sporty B logo on the nose of the mirror-finish Titanal topsheet. Ski poles are available in two sizes, and hiking ski poles are available in one retractable size. The Balenciaga Helmet is made in collaboration with trusted protective gear supplier Briko and is available in three sizes.
