The Japan-India International Industry Promotion Association (JIIPA), a non-profit organization, will hold the 5th India Trend Fair Tokyo 2019, an exhibition bringing together Indian apparel and home fashion manufacturers, for three days from July 24th (Wed) to 26th (Fri) at Bellesalle Shibuya Garden.


This exhibition attracts many buyers and merchandise makers every year. The Indian textile industry, which has developed by spreading Indian ethnic designs such as paisley and chintz, as well as raw material production and dyeing and weaving techniques around the world, is attracting attention from Japanese companies as a supplier, supplier, and production base.

This year marks the fifth anniversary of the India Trend Fair Tokyo 2019, and it is expected to be even more powerful than the previous event, with approximately 110 companies (70 apparel companies, 30 home textile companies, and 10 other companies) exhibiting.




The product lineup includes apparel lines for women, men, and children, as well as traditional Indian fashion featuring intricate embroidery and dyeing, and ethical fashion that is fair trade, considers animal welfare, and the environment. In addition, there is a wide selection of home apparel lines that include bed linens, pillow covers, cushions, rugs, mats, towels, garden decorations, stationery, and miscellaneous goods to add color to your life, making for a truly fascinating exhibit.




Admission to the exhibition venue is free and interpretation services will be available. In addition, Indian tea "chai" will be served, making it a special three days where you can get a closer feel for India through interactions with exhibitors visiting Japan.

In addition, on July 24th during the exhibition, a seminar on "Business Trends and Developments in the Indian Textile Industry" will be held.
