"CURRY&MUSIC JAPAN 2019" is a new type of curry and music festival that will be held for the first time at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Event Square over two days on June 29th and 30th. Listen to music from a stellar lineup while munching on delicious curry... Be sure to check out the highlights of the event to ensure you have the best weekend ever!





This evolved festival combines an authentic curry festival with the ultimate summer experience: outdoor live music. This exciting event will be held in Yokohama, a city with a deep connection to curry. 15 curry restaurants and artists with ties to Yokohama and curry will gather for live performances and talks, satisfying both music and curry lovers!




The event's special ambassador is Yuhi Komiyama of Hoff Dylan, a leading curry connoisseur in the music industry. There will also be a live performance by Hofu Dylan on the 29th!
Other notable acts include PUFFY, a Japanese pop icon active around the world; Magokoro Brothers, who celebrate their 30th anniversary this year with a cover of the classic "Something smells like curry~♫"; KIRINJI, who celebrated their 20th anniversary since their major debut in 2018; and the band apart(naked), who are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. Don't miss the diverse lineup of live performances, including top runners such as 16-year-old Kanagawa-born singer-songwriter Harada Suzuka and TENDOUJI, who will also be performing at Fuji Rock Festival.
●The final acts on the first day will be KIRINJI (on the first day) and the band apart(naked) (on the last day).
KIRINJI will close the first day. YonYon will also be making a guest appearance on the day to sing the new song "Killer Tune Kills Me feat. YonYon"! And to close out the final day, the band apart (naked) will be performing. Enjoy the golden time as the night breeze flows comfortably through the heated venue.

15 curry specialty restaurants, mainly from the Kanagawa area, will be gathered together! Here are some menu items.


The menu includes a keema curry topped with a soft-boiled egg (500 yen) made by Harajuku's popular Minoringo and its sister restaurant Chii Ringo, a Sri Lankan-style one-plate curry (1,300 yen) made by the owner of Cinnamon Garden, who is originally from Sri Lanka, and the popular Aosei Dormitory curry (500 yen) from the Aosei Dormitory, where young players from the Yokohama DeNA BayStars live....The lineup also includes classics like European, butter chicken, and green curry, as well as unique dishes like Sichuan-style dandan curry and medicinal curry made with Hinai chicken offal and beans. Curry is served on a special plate with rice, which can be purchased at the RICE SHOP. Some stores are also selling sets that include naan and toast, so check the special website for details!
