Bottega Veneta is hosting a pop-up shop showcasing Daniel Lee's debut collection, the Pre-Fall 2019 collection, at the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building for the men's collection and the Isetan Shinjuku Women's Building for the women's collection.
The pop-up shop will feature a variety of items exclusive to Isetan Shinjuku and Japan-exclusive colorways.

This bag features a striking, long, curved tubular handle attached in a large arc. The bag has no lining, and the intricate construction is clearly visible, including the flat rivets that secure the handle and base studs. At this pop-up, it will be available in a wood color exclusive to Japan.

The Pouch family is one of the first two bags designed by Creative Director Daniel Lee for Bottega Veneta. The rigid frame is completely enveloped in soft leather, creating a voluminous, rounded silhouette. Crafted from smooth calf leather known as buttercalf, the bag can also be used as a shoulder bag with the included leather strap, which can be stored inside the bag. At this pop-up, the bag will be available in Plaster (grayish white), a colorway exclusive to Japan.

Also available are sneakers with a calf leather base and striking shoelaces. The outsole is made from TPU rubber (salmon plastic/polyurethane), which is durable, strong, heat-resistant, and has excellent grip. At the pop-up, the interior of the bag and the side pockets that are visible through the mesh will feature a Japan-exclusive Bianco (white) colorway with black shoelaces. Prices start from 107,000 yen.

The main material is lightweight, waterproof paper nylon with its distinctive crinkled texture, and each model uses nine unique materials to match its complex structure. Ripstop nylon is used for the lining in a bright contrasting color, stretch mesh for the pockets, and spinnaker canvas for the trim and straps. The backpack, with its wraparound top design, is highlighted by its numerous internal and external pockets.
