The Classic, released in 1980, combined sophistication and sportiness, creating a design unthinkable at the time: combining a costly gold case with a simple rubber strap. This watch made a huge impact on the world of luxury watchmaking. This watch captured the hearts of enthusiasts seeking something different, and it has continued Hublot's tireless pursuit of bold ideas. This vision continues to drive all of Hublot's efforts today, from new product development and design to partnerships.

The rubber strap, polished pure black lacquer dial, faceted hands and the Maison's signature yellow gold reflect the original design by founder Carlo Crocco. The logo has become more modern and contemporary over time.
