An event for curry lovers is being held at Matsuya Ginza! A huge gathering of restaurants with long lines and Indian tableware

"GINZA 7 Days of Curry: Uncovering the Secrets of Curry," an event for curry lovers, by curry lovers, and about curry lovers, is being held at the Matsuya Ginza 8th floor Event Square until May 14th.


From famous restaurants with long lines to the hottest new spots, this event allows you to fully explore the essence of curry. Authentic curry, side dishes, spices, ready-to-eat curry, Indian tableware, miscellaneous goods, snacks, and books are all available under one roof.

From DELHI, a long-established Indian/Pakistani restaurant, an "Indian Set Meal" (1,101 yen including tax) is available, with a choice of four dishes, including dark brown Kashmiri curry and korma curry. Additionally, as a special offer, they will be selling the Indian Makunouchi Bento (1,501 yen including tax), an Indian dish that can be eaten with chopsticks, with a limit of 10 per day. Eric South, which serves spicy and healthy "South Indian curry", will be offering the luxurious "Biryani & Curry Lunch Box (Eric Chicken Curry)" (1,382 yen including tax), which allows you to enjoy the popular chicken biryani and curry all at once, Soup Curry Rakkyo, a soup curry specialty store born in Hokkaido, will be offering the exquisite "Lamb Keema Soup Curry" (1,260 yen including tax), made with a rich soup made from a secret recipe and coarsely ground lamb, and Curry Kuruma will be offering the aromatic "Chicken Spice Curry Orange & Fennel" (864 yen including tax), a spice curry that brings out the best of the spices.

Beat Eat, a popular restaurant known for using game caught by the owner, who is also a hunter, will be open for a limited time until May 12th. They will be selling "Venison and Wild Boar Biryani" (1,501 yen including tax). Additionally, Habachar, a restaurant run by Chef Iizuka, Japan's leading achar expert, will be selling a "Chicken Keema Curry & 4 Types of Achar Thali Box" (1,080 yen including tax) only on May 13th, and Ginza Nile Restaurant, Japan's oldest Indian restaurant, will be selling a "Biryani and 2 Types of Curry Platter" (1,501 yen including tax) only on May 14th.

In the curry relay corner, chefs who love spicy food, such as PIVO, Nomikuidokoro Aotsuki, SPICE VILLAGE, Boulangerie Shima, And Beer, and Koshinazakezo, will be showcasing their signature dishes on a daily basis. A limited number of "curry tasting tickets" (1,080 yen including tax) will be sold each day, and you can enjoy a set of three trial sizes of the curry available at the venue (including some of the curry relay achar and beer), along with rice.

Other items on display include Spin Foods selling authentic spices in small quantities, ready-to-eat curry from Nishikiya, a gourmet ready-to-eat food store, and biryani dishes from Asia Hunter, a specialist store for Indian tableware and cooking implements. There will also be a large collection of curry-related goods, such as Monotsukuri Curry Men T-shirts, caps, and pouches. Curry star Mizuno Jinsuke and Hobonichi's Curry School, a commuter course, will also be selling limited edition curry books and curry pots.
