FLIPPER'S, a soufflé pancake specialty store, and FLIPPER'S STAND, a soufflé pancake pudding specialty store, will be selling seasonal menu items using Uji matcha for a limited time starting May 8th.

"Miracle Pancakes: Deep-fried Kinako and Uji Matcha" (1,300 yen)
The "Miracle Pancakes: Deep-fried Kinako and Uji Matcha" (1,300 yen), available at all Flipper's stores, is a dish of carefully baked, fluffy soufflé pancakes generously dusted with deep-fried kinako from Kisshokaryo, which has its main store in Gion, Kyoto. Served with ice cream made with the premium Uji matcha tea and homemade fresh chocolate, it is topped with Hokkaido azuki beans for a sweet accent. You can vary the flavor by adding rich kinako sauce and brown sugar syrup to your liking.  


"Miracle Souffle Pancake Pudding: Deep-Fried Kinako and Uji Matcha" (¥600 each)
Also available at all Flipper's Stand locations is the "Miracle Souffle Pancake Pudding: Deep-Fried Kinako and Uji Matcha" (¥600). The pudding is topped with rich kinako sauce and cream made with Hokkaido azuki beans. It's topped with souffle pancakes filled with Uji matcha cream, creating a luxurious treat that lets you enjoy the full flavor of carefully selected Japanese ingredients.


"Pancake Pie Uji Matcha and Bean Paste Butter" (440 yen each)
In addition, all stores except Flipper's Omotesando and Jiyugaoka stores, and Flipper's Stand Shinjuku NEWoMan store will also be offering "Pancake Pie Uji Matcha and Bean Paste Butter" (440 yen). The dough is kneaded with Uji matcha and is sandwiched with Hokkaido-produced coarse bean paste and butter. This is a simply prepared Japanese-style pancake pie that allows you to enjoy the deliciousness of the carefully selected ingredients.
