Marie-Hélène de Taillac holds personal appearance

Dec 7, 2012
Marie-Hélène de Taillac, a jewelry brand located in the West Park section of the Isetan Shinjuku department store on the third floor, will hold a personal appearance event on Saturday, the 8th. Founder and designer Marie-Hélène de Taillac will personally be present in-store, engaging with customers and selling her products in a trunk show format.

Marie-Hélène de Taillac is a descendant of a prestigious French aristocrat, a descendant of Porthos from the novel "The Three Musketeers." After working as a jewelry brand designer and an assistant to Philip Treacy, she founded her own brand in India in 1996. Her popular jewelry featuring colored stones features a distinctive design in which the stone itself is drilled without a setting and fitted with a ring-like arm.

Currently sold in Europe, the United States, and Asia, the brand has direct stores in Paris and Tokyo. Aside from the flagship store in Aoyama, Tokyo, designed by world-renowned product designer Marc Newson, Isetan Shinjuku is the first time the brand has its own sales floor in Japan. In addition, a jewelry series with a four-leaf clover motif is currently on sale at Isetan Shinjuku.
