A giant figure of "COMPANION," a popular character by international contemporary artist KAWS, will be on display at Hong Kong's famous Victoria Harbour for 10 days from March 22nd to 31st.
This event, "KAWS: HOLIDAY," is being held in the third location after Seoul and Taipei. The Hong Kong exhibit features a 37-meter figure relaxing in the sea, making it KAWS' largest reclining work to date.
This project is a collaboration between KAWS and Hong Kong-based creative studio AllRightsReserved Ltd. The exhibition is being held in conjunction with Hong Kong Arts Month, a month of arts and culture events in Hong Kong, and can be seen up close from Central on Hong Kong Island and the central section of the Western District Promenade.
