February 25, 2022 - Creative Director Alessandro Michele presented his latest collection, Exquisite Gucci, at Milan Fashion Week, which returned after a two-year hiatus.

adidas x Gucci - Combining the traditions and creative codes of both brands, the collection features "adidasxGucci" looks inspired by Laura Whitcomb's creations from the early 1990s, masculine formal suits for women, and lingerie sets coordinated with leather and faux fur, exuding sensuality. A pale green tulle gown was created by the Gucci atelier in Rome and features unique craftsmanship and skillful embroidery.

Further exploring British fashion culture, this season's tartan suiting and reinterpreted faux fur looks, the distinctive signature and silhouette of Gucci tailoring, are expressed in adidas' active heritage colors and technical fabrics.

The show's source of inspiration was "Speculum majus," a shiny, reflective fabric inspired by the '80s that evokes the idea of Metamorphosis. Rock star represents a rebellious spirit seeking empowerment and revolution.
