Jil Sander opens first bag and leather goods store in Japan at Shinjuku Isetan

Mar 6, 2019

JIL SANDER will open its only permanent shop in Japan exclusively selling bags and leather goods on March 6th in the handbag section on the first floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.

Since Lucie and Luke Meier took over as creative directors, JIL SANDER has been attracting attention for its new designs of bags and leather goods.

To celebrate the opening, the brand will be selling a limited edition "Tag Charm" featuring the JIL SANDER logo and a black "Envelope Box" whose soft yet structured form embodies the brand concept. Other items featured prominently on the Spring/Summer 2019 runway will also be available, including a small version of the popular new "Sombrero" bag, which combines a modern feel with functionality; new additions to the "Tootie" series, featuring artistic embroidery of a nude woman on canvas; and a mini bag with a belt that makes a useful accent for any outfit.
