The film "Advanced Style: Fashion is Life," based on photographer Ari Seth Cohen's blog, "Advanced Style," will be released nationwide on May 29th at Toho Cinemas Chanter, Toho Cinemas Shinjuku, and other theaters. "Advanced Style" features women aged 60 to 100, capturing stylish ladies strolling the streets of New York. Their unique styles, from their brisk, ageless strides in heels to their overly flashy outfits, have captivated many in the fashion world. In 2012, a photo book of his snapshots, "Advanced Style: Fashion Snaps of Advanced Fashionists Found in New York," was released, selling 41,000 copies. Such was his popularity that a photo exhibition was held at Seibu Shibuya in March of this year. This film follows seven fashionable ladies, exploring each one's life through their fashion sense and lifestyle. These ladies wear whatever they like, establish their own personal style, and learn from their passion for enjoying life to the fullest through fashion. Fashion Headline will be giving away tickets to the film's premiere screening, which will be held at Shiseido Hanatsubaki Hall in Ginza, Tokyo, on May 25th, ahead of the film's release, to 20 pairs of lucky winners (40 winners total) selected by lottery from among our email newsletter subscribers.
