Acne Studios' 2019 Spring/Summer collection went on sale at Acne Studios directly managed stores from January 31st.

Creative director Jonny Johansson's inspiration for this season came from the various scenes in the life of a female dancer. The collection is made up of four scenes that the dancer experiences: rehearsal, performance, days off, and nights out. The collection features tight yet fluid silhouettes, including seamlessly knitted tight knit tops paired with jersey slip dresses, jersey blazers, and hooded anoraks made of wrinkled suede reminiscent of artisan workwear. Details include patches printed with vintage ballet posters and detailed landscape paintings of the Opera House printed on long coats and shirt dresses. A swan pattern inspired by "Swan Lake" is also featured on tuxedos and pleated pants.
