The 11th TOKYO COFFEE FESTIVAL, one of Japan's largest coffee events, will be held over two days, April 13th and 14th, in the United Nations University courtyard in Aoyama, Tokyo.
This 11th edition will feature a total of 57 vendors, including 14 from overseas, including coffee roasters, cafes, and coffee shops, selling not only coffee but also food and other items to accompany it.
This year marks the first time that a "GUEST CITY" project will be launched, focusing on cities around the world and introducing their coffee culture, history, and notable roasters. The first event will feature Melbourne, Australia, known as a city of immigrants and home to a diverse range of cultures. Six cafes, including ST.ALi, a pioneer of Melbourne's coffee culture, and the highly popular stand-style coffee roaster Patricia Coffee Brewers, will be participating, along with craft chocolate maker Hunted+Gathered, which will be opening its first store in Japan.
The venue will also feature a traditional coffee tasting event featuring over 100 varieties of domestic and international coffee served in original ceramic mugs. This year, attendees will be able to enjoy their coffee in tumblers, which can be used after the event, in addition to the mugs. Additionally, Tokyo Bike will be offering rental cycles (appointment required) and limited edition merchandise will also be available for purchase.
