A limited edition collaboration between ZUCCa and Paris-based artist Christophe Brunnquell will be released on December 20th. From the release date through January 9th, 2020, CABANE de ZUCCa Minami-Aoyama will host "carnaval 2020," an exhibition of original collage art by Christophe Brunnquell.


Christophe Brunnquell was the long-time art director of fashion magazine Purple, and a pioneering artist who led the fashion and culture scene of the 1990s alongside founders Olivier Zahm and Ellen Fleiss. He has previously worked in art direction and design consulting for brands such as Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, and Colette, and is currently actively working as an artist, creating drawings and collages.


This time, CABANE de ZUCCa Minami Aoyama will be introducing limited-edition ceramic cups, plates, and vases by Paris-based ceramic artist Han-Chiao, featuring drawings by Christophe Blanquer. Other items available include a limited-edition special model of Zucca's iconic "Buckle Bag," available only at the Minami Aoyama store, as well as special items featuring Christophe Blanquer's collage work on T-shirts, sweatshirts, bags, pouches, notebooks, clear files, and more.



In conjunction with this, the store will be hosting "carnaval 2020," Christophe's first exhibition of original art in Japan. In addition to displaying and selling his works, a limited edition of 50 copies of an art book specially edited for this project of collage works from his archives will also be released for sale (5,000 yen).

To commemorate the event, a carnival party with free entrance will be held at CABANE de ZUCCa Minami Aoyama on the first day, December 20th, from 6pm to 8pm, featuring Christophe Blanquer. Those who purchase the art book during the party will have the chance to get an autograph from Christophe Blanquer. Collaboration items with Christophe Blanquer are also available at ZUCCa, CABANE de ZUCCa, HUMOR SHOP, and online stores nationwide (the art book, ceramics, and buckle bag are available exclusively at the Minami Aoyama store).
