The "biotope t.b.d./ARABIA Flea Market," an event showcasing tableware from "biotope," a shop specializing in vintage items, is being held at the select shop "doinel" until May 19th.

"biotope" opened in Gakugei University in 2004 with the aim of bringing the richness of Nordic craftsmanship and lifestyles from the 1950s to 1970s to modern life. It primarily offers vintage items such as Nordic tableware. In 2011, the store relocated to the 5th floor of the main building of the Isetan Shinjuku store. It regularly hosts exhibitions and events.

This annual event offers tableware made by the Finnish ARABIA kiln at a more reasonable price than usual. The tableware, with its simple, long-lasting shapes and simple, tasteful decorations, is a perfect fit for any Japanese table.
