Michael Kors will open its largest flagship store in Japan on Chuo-dori in Tokyo's Ginza district in the fall of 2015. It will be the brand's first store in the world to stock all product categories.
The store will span three floors and cover 702 square meters. The design follows the new concept used in the Jing'an Kerry Center store that opened in Shanghai last year. Stainless steel fixtures, white marble floors, wood, and zebra skin create a luxurious and comfortable space, allowing customers to enjoy shopping while taking their time to consider their style.
The first floor will feature Michael Kors Collection and MICHAEL MICHAEL KORS accessories such as handbags, small leather goods, watches, jewelry, and eyewear. The second floor will feature clothing and shoe collections from both women's lines, and the basement will feature men's clothing and accessories, a first for Japan.
Designer Michael Kors said, "Tokyo is one of the world's top fashion cities, and Ginza is one of the world's leading shopping areas. I am both excited and proud to be able to open a store in this special location. I am really looking forward to the opening."
