Starting March 1, 2023, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) will be offering a Sakura Afternoon Tea in its lobby lounge, Le Jardin, which takes advantage of the garden's views.

◇Enhance your cherry blossom viewing experience with a Sakura Afternoon Tea, enjoyed alongside the garden's cherry blossoms
In February, early-blooming Kawazu cherry blossoms and winter cherry blossoms bloom in the garden of Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo. Approximately 100 cherry trees of 20 different varieties reach their peak blooming through April, and you can enjoy the spectacular spring scenery from Le Jardin, which overlooks the garden. The top tier of this Sakura Afternoon Tea features four desserts: the "Sakura Mont Blanc," inspired by cherry blossoms in full bloom; the gorgeous "Sakura Rare Cheesecake," a cherry-colored rare cheese mousse topped with strawberry-flavored cream in the shape of a cherry blossom; the adorable "Sakura Tart," which resembles cherry blossom petals fluttering in the air; and the nostalgic "Siberia," sandwiched between cherry blossom yokan.

The middle tier of scones includes the classic plain, the "Boiled Azuki Bean Scone," inspired by traditional Japanese sweets, and the popular "Sakura Scone," which has been redesigned for a crispier texture this year. Enjoy with your choice of clotted cream or matcha clotted cream. The savory dishes on the bottom tier include four types: "Cherry Blossom Pancakes with Sakura Shrimp and Spring Cabbage Salad," accented with salted cherry blossoms to give a spring feel; "Onion Flan and Sautéed Foie Gras with Sweet Summer Mandarin Orange Compote," "Conchiglie Stuffed with Spring Vegetables and Quinoa Aglio Olio," and "Chicken, Asparagus and Cream Cheese Sandwich," featuring a cute cross-section of cherry blossom-colored bread, asparagus, and cream cheese.
◇Plan with welcome drink, where you can enjoy "Sakura Champagne" with a mist reminiscent of the Tokyo Sea of Clouds

With the welcome drink plan, we will provide you with cherry blossom champagne made with cherry blossom liqueur, inspired by the gardens during cherry blossom season. When you remove the chocolate plate on top of the glass, a mist reminiscent of the Tokyo Sea of Clouds will spread, creating an adorable sight. Be sure to enjoy the cherry blossoms in the garden during the day, and the night cherry blossoms and clouds that combine with the Tokyo Sea of Clouds at night, before or after your meal.
