An artwork exhibition that captures the world of Yuzu's new song "Maboroshi" is currently being held in Meguro

Event Date:2018.12.07-12.12

The "Yuzu Maboroshi Exhibition," an artwork exhibition delving deeper into the musical worldview of Yuzu's new song "Maboroshi," is being held at CLASKA The 8th Gallery in Meguro, Tokyo, from December 7th to 12th.

Yuzu's new song, "Maboroshi," released digitally on November 16th, is a medium-length ballad that lets go of the "positive" public image that Yuzu has carried in recent years and expresses the "negative" side of the current Yuzu. Kitagawa Yuujin produced the song with the feeling of "looking down on Yuzu and producing," and it is an ambitious work that further elevates Iwasawa Koji's unique singing voice.

This artwork exhibition is an art gallery that delves into the depths of the song's worldview, with photos taken by Kitaoka Toshiaki, the photographer who also created the album's main visual and jacket photo. "Light and darkness," "front and back," "emotional fluctuations," "water," "overlap," etc. capture the song from various angles, inviting the viewer to new realms. The spatial design is by Yamaya Akihiro, and the graphic design by Naruo Niki. Yuzu, who have collaborated with numerous artists to date and continue to go beyond the boundaries of traditional J-POP, will have their latest artwork on display.
