The Ginza store marks the first project undertaken by Pin Hsien Ong, who became president and CEO of Tory Burch Japan in July 2018. The store's exterior features terracotta tiles and large windows with brass frames, custom-made for the Ginza store. Like its global stores, the interior features a clean, modern décor, creating a welcoming and inviting space. Oak walls, bamboo tables, and brass shelving complement the vibrant colors of Tory Burch's apparel and accessories, while a plaster chandelier handmade for the Ginza store by New York's Atelier Demiurge is also featured. Another appealing aspect of the space is its respect for Japanese artisans. The delicate white lattice pattern on the staircase was hand-painted by a Japanese artist, and the brass door handles were designed by MATUREWARE by FUTAGAMI, a Japanese brand specializing in architectural hardware. The interior also recreates Tory Burch's New York home, featuring matchstick blinds and botanical prints. Each floor is home to a wide selection of clothing, shoes, accessories, and eyewear, with a special lounge on the top floor for VIPs, allowing guests to experience the world of the luxury brand.
