On May 16th, adidas Originals will release the "Stan Smith Patent" sneaker (priced at ¥20,000) in collaboration with White Mountaineering at White Mountaineering's Daikanyama and Isetan Shinjuku stores. The shoe is based on the iconic "Stan Smith," released in 1973. This model, featuring breathable leather—a groundbreaking development at the time—sold 22 million pairs by 1991, earning it a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's best-selling sneaker. This latest model, featuring a different color and material from the first collaboration model released in March of this year, features a subtle mountain print on the tongue. The heel patch and sockliner feature a marquetry pattern. The outer heel features an embossed White Mountaineering brand logo. Available in two colors: navy and white, and gray and charcoal. The items will be available on May 30th at Adidas Originals Flagship Store Tokyo and Shinsaibashi, Adidas Brand Core Store Shibuya, Shinsaibashi, and Nagoya, as well as at Mita Sneakers, Undefeated, Styles, Vie, Dice & Dice, Dover Street Market, and Billy's.
