"Try! instax - The World of instax Square," an event where you can experience the much talked about instant camera, Instax, which allows you to take square format photos like those on Instagram, will be held from November 14th to 20th at The Stage #2 on the 2nd floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.



"instax SQUARE," sold by Fujifilm, is an Instax camera that allows you to print photos on the spot, making it easy to enjoy printed photos. Currently, the instax series includes the "instax SQUARE SQ6," "instax SQUARE SQ10," and "instax SQUARE SQ20." This event, held at Isetan Shinjuku, will feature these three cameras, as well as the "instax SHARE SP-3," a printer that allows users to easily print square images taken with smartphones and other devices. The appeal of the "instax SQUARE" will be introduced through three experiences: viewing, taking, and displaying.

In the viewing corner, there will be an exhibition called "instax SQUARE By special photographer," where nine popular photographers will exhibit their newly created Instax prints. Photographers such as Hideaki Hamada, who has appeared in magazines such as "KINFOLK" and boasts 320,000 followers on Instagram, as well as Shiori Iwakura and Yuri Hanamori, who are active in a wide range of fields, including advertising, magazines, CD jacket photography, and photobook publishing, will be participating to express the world of "instax SQUARE." In addition, zines by nine photographers and original postcards by each photographer will be sold exclusively at the venue. The photographers will also be present. The exhibiting photographers include Hideaki Hamada, Shiori Iwakura, Haru Wagnus, Takashi Yasui, Shinya, Yuri Hanamori, Haruka Yamamoto, Mao Kokubu, and Moronon.

In the photo corner, you can experience taking photos with "instax SQUARE" at the photo spots within the space while receiving a lecture from staff. You can enjoy taking photos freely in a space filled with subjects that will make you want to take a photo. Through the lecture experience, your everyday photos will be transformed into something even better.

In the display corner, we will also be showcasing wonderful ways to display "instax SQUARE" and suggesting ways to enrich your lifestyle. There will also be a project where you can display a photo you have taken yourself. Why not display your favorite photo at Isetan Shinjuku?


Also, the venue will be hosting Taylor Swift's "Now or never. instax Gallery Taylor Swift Photo Exhibition." Taylor is also a regular user of the "instax SQUARE." The exhibition will feature photos of Taylor captured with the "instax SQUARE," including backstage scenes and genuine expressions, ahead of her first Tokyo Dome performance in three years, "TAYLOR SWIFT reputation STADIUM TOUR in Japan Presented by FUJIFILM instax," which will be held on November 20th and 21st. The exhibition will also feature the "instax SQUARE SQ6 Taylor Swift Edition," a special camera designed by Taylor herself.
