Event Date:2018.10.01-12.20
Oct 17, 2018
Jean-Paul Hévin has introduced the original Buche de Noël as its Christmas cake for 2018. Reservations will begin on October 1st.

Jean-Paul Hévin decides on a theme each year and releases its Buche de Noël and Valentine's Day collections around that theme. The theme for the 2018-19 collection is "VOYAGES-VOYAGE (travel)." Based on this theme, this Christmas will see the release of Buche de Noël cakes with motifs based on the icons of three cities. "Bûche Ptit-Train" (6,750 yen including tax) is inspired by a small train that travels around tourist spots in France. It is a combination of bitter chocolate mousse and chestnut and hazelnut dacquoise with Timut pepper, which has a citrus-like aroma.

"Bûche Ptit-Train" (6,750 yen including tax)
"Bûche Kyoto" (6,210 yen including tax) is a cake that expresses love for the ancient capital of Kyoto, with a motif of Kinkaku-ji Temple. It consists of matcha mousse, rich chestnut cream, and biscuits wrapped in a delicately fragrant Ecuadorian cacao mousse. "Bûche Venezia" (6,210 yen including tax) is inspired by a gondola crossing the beautiful canals of Venice, the city of water. Tiramisu is hidden inside a Colombian cacao mousse with a coffee-like flavor.

"Gâteau de voyage Sidéral" (5,940 yen including tax)
Also available is the frozen cake "Gâteau de voyage Sidéral" (5,940 yen including tax). This cake combines Venezuelan cacao mousse, chocolate biscuit, and fragrant crustian, and you can enjoy decorating it with chocolate stars and rockets.
