To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Laforet Harajuku will be holding a limited-time event, "Laforet HARAJUKU 40th Anniversary Week 'with LAFORET'," from October 20th to November 11th. Special limited-time products, campaigns and events will be available in the storefronts of approximately 120 stores within the building and at Laforet Museum Harajuku.

This limited-time event is inspired by the message, "Laforet has always been, and will always be, together with our customers, shops and creators..." The store will be selling exclusive merchandise, including limited edition items and novelties featuring the logo commemorating Laforet Harajuku's 40th anniversary, and will also be hosting events by popular stores at Laforet Museum Harajuku on the sixth floor of the building.
WALL, which has a store on the first floor, will be moving to Laforet Museum Harajuku for one day only. For one day only on October 20th, they will be holding "MALL by WALL" with free admission, where 40 brands they carry will set up booths and present new products through an installation to celebrate Laforet Harajuku's 40th anniversary.
WALL "MALL by WALL"
Angelic Pretty, located on the 1.5th basement floor, will be holding an exhibition titled "ANGELIC PRETTY MUSEUM" at Laforet Museum Harajuku for two days on October 26th and 27th, with free admission. The brand has been attracting attention not only in Japan but also overseas since its inception, and the exhibition will include an archive exhibition that fully showcases and expresses the brand's appeal, as well as a fashion show featuring special guests.
Alice and the Pirates, located on the 1.5th basement floor, will be holding "Merveilleuse Boudoir - Eternally Longing Lady Time" at Laforet Museum Harajuku on October 28th. Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, a sister brand of the brand popular for its dark and seductive atmosphere that sets it apart from Lolita, is a company that appeared under its real name in the film "Shimotsuma Monogatari" and helped popularize the world of Lolita. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the company's founding, and the brand will be holding a full-scale fashion show introducing the brand's history and latest works. Tickets for this event will be distributed to customers who spend 5,000 yen or more (tax included) at the Alice and the Pirates store on the 1.5th basement floor from October 20th.

Harajuku pioneers, MILKBOY, will be opening a pop-up shop in the entrance space on the first floor from October 5th to the 14th. They will be showcasing their latest collection titled "PSYCHIC CLUB", which is themed around a boy with invisible powers, as well as releasing exclusive items that can only be purchased at the shop. Additionally, luxurious collaboration items with popular brands close to Milk Boy, such as Bounty Hunter, Comme des Garçons, fragment design, realmad HECTIC, and Undercover, will also be on sale. In-store live performances will also be held every evening during the event. Details on how to purchase the collaboration items will be announced on Milk Boy's official Instagram account (@milkboy_official). Also in the entrance space on the first floor, 6%DOKIDOKI, run by artist Masuda Sebastian, who helped establish "Harajuku kawaii culture," will be opening a pop-up shop from October 27th to November 5th. This will be the first event in Japan where you can check out the brand's latest creations. In addition, 6-D Sebastian Masuda, a new brand that debuted in Spring/Summer 2018, will be exhibiting and selling its latest collection, which has just been unveiled overseas, at this pop-up shop.
