Vivienne Westwood exhibition to be held as part of Laforet Harajuku's 40th anniversary celebrations!

Event Date:2018.11.02-11.18
Oct 2, 2018
British designer Vivienne Westwood will be holding an exhibition titled "GET A LIFE!" as part of Laforet Harajuku's 40th anniversary celebrations. The exhibition will run from November 2nd to 18th.

Vivienne Westwood, a British designer and activist, has always used her collections and catwalk shows as a platform to convey social messages. For many years, she has been raising awareness of the serious impacts that climate change and excessive consumption have on the environment, and her reform movements have attracted significant attention from the international community. This exhibition will feature a number of collections and graphics that embody activism and design, including the "Save the Arctic" joint campaign with the international environmental NGO Greenpeace, which attracted attention by displaying portraits of many famous people together at London's Waterloo Station.

During the event, the venue will also be hosting the "BRING" project, a collection of unwanted clothing, run by Japan Environmental Design Co., Ltd., as well as a participatory project where visitors can bring in used plastic bottle caps and work together to create artwork. There will also be limited edition items available exclusively at the venue.

Why not come and experience Vivienne Westwood's philosophy and message for creating a better world at the venue?
