OFFICINE UNIVERSELLE BULY, a comprehensive beauty specialty store with its headquarters in Paris, has opened its third directly managed store in Japan on the first floor of Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C., which opened on September 25th.
Located in an exclusive area adjacent to the main and new buildings of Nihonbashi Takashimaya, which houses the new urban shopping center, the Nihonbashi store debuts with a one-of-a-kind original spatial design designed with the Nihonbashi area in mind.The store's unique design blends Western and Eastern elements, tradition and the future.
Facing the entrance is a striking wooden shelf in a rich deep green, evoking the traditional image of 19th century Paris, the roots of Officine Universelle Buly. Continuing further in, a flowing passage leads to a regularly-spaced, pure white wall with small, futuristic round windows lit up in red. The window-like shelves beautifully display the brand's iconic products.
The store offers a selection of face and body skincare, oral care, haircare, room fragrances, and beauty tools carefully selected from around the world. In addition to skincare advice using plant oils, natural clays, and powders, boutique staff also offer calligraphy services.
